Senior Technical Service Engineer

To strengthen their team in Technical Service Department Europe, currently, we are looking for a ‘Technical Service Manager (m/f/d)’ in North Rhine-Westphalia

Responsibilities

1. Application technical support of customers(key accounts), in the area of solvent-based industrial coatings, powder coatings and printing inks in Europe and selected export countries
2. Initiate and monitor basic and customer-related laboratory work in collaboration with the Research Services department
3. Active participation in development projects (Stage Gate projects) together with the pigment innovation and marketing departments 
4. Technical support in the introduction of new paint and ink pigments and in the consolidation of the existing product portfolio
5. Maintaining and coordinating technical complaints
6. Continuous development and management of technical expertise as well as application know-how, presentations at specialist congresses and trade fairs

Requirements

1. Successfully completed training in the field of chemistry, paint technology or paint engineering
2. Ideal would be at least 3 years professional experience in the coatings laboratory and in the technical application consulting in the field of coatings and printing inks
3. You have a sympathetic, convincing character and very good communication skills. You are a team player, flexible, committed and work independently, responsibly and service-oriented
4. The willingness to travel frequently is self-evident (about 30%)
5. Very good German and English spoken and written and IT experience are required
